Hey All-
The Sharx just got back from Prague Softball week last night around 11PM. We had a very successful weekend beating all of our opponents and winning the tournament. We beat Czech, Slovokia, Russia, and two American teams to take home the trophy. Our team finally started meshing together and the result was amazing!
Overall, this tournament was an amazing experience. After the second day of games all the teams entered players into three competitions: flame thrower, homerun derby, and fastest home to home time. This was probably my favorite part of the tournament because all the teams were cheering for their teammates in different languages and there was also a lot of interaction between the team, and thats when the experience is worthwhile.
Tomorrow, Dani, Kelsi, and I will be leaving for Italy for a week of vacation. Our destinations are Venice, Florence, and Rome. We will then return to the house for a day or two and head to Vienna. Next week in Vienna the Juniors European Cup is taking place. Several of our fellow Sharx and coaches will be in town so its a great chance to see the city!
